BASIC LIFE SUPPORT FOR HEALTHCARE PROVIDERS
This Basic Life Support class is designed for healthcare providers and other students who are seeking training that offers an American Heart Association certification documenting successful completion of a CPR course as well as other lifesaving skills, in a wide variety of in-hospital and out-of-hospital settings.
Course Content:

Adult, child and infant CPR (including 2-rescuer scenarios and use of the bag mask)

Differences between adult, child and infant rescue techniques

Bag-mask techniques for adult, child and infant

Rescue breathing for adult, child and infant

Foreign-body airway obstruction adult, child and infant

Use of Automated External Defibrillator (AED) with CPR

BASIC LIFE SUPPORT SKILLS TEST
Attendees:
Students who have completed the Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider Online Part 1 Course: BLS Anytime for Healthcare Providers and Heart Code BLS.
To attend this class, students must bring to class the certificate of successful completion of the online test for Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers - Part 1

Skills Test for Adult, child and infant CPR (including 2-rescuer scenarios and use of the bag mask)

Use of Automated External Defibrillator (AED) with CPR
Written Exam/Skills Session: A skills session is the hands-on portion of an AHA eLearning course and includes parts 2 & 3 — skills practice & testing. It is conducted in-person after a student completes Part 1 online.
Skills sessions are conducted by American Heart Association Basic Life Support Instructors.

Describir la importancia de la Reanimación CardioPulmonar (RCP) de alta calidad

y su repercusión sobre la supervivencia.

Realizar una RCP de alta calidad a un adulto.

Realizar una RCP de alta calidad a un niño.

Aplicar los conceptos del SVB / BLS pertenecientes a la cadena de supervivencia.

Describir la tecnica empleada para eliminar la obstrucción de la via aérea por cuerpo extraño en un adulto o un niño.

Efectuar ventilaciones eficaces mediante el uso de un dispositivo de barrera.

Al final de la clases hay un examen con 25 preguntas.
